First Severe Weather!

Moderate risk of severe weather for today in West Wisconsin, East Minnesota and far South-West corner of Upper Peninsula.


Severe thunderstorms expected this afternoon and this evening across the U.P. with hail, damaging wind gusts and...chance of few and isolated tornado.


At 11.30: 51F, cloudy and few showers early this morning.

Freeze Watch

... Freeze watch in effect from late tonight through Tuesday
morning...

The National Weather Service in Marquette has issued a freeze
watch... which is in effect from late tonight through Tuesday
morning.

Temperatures may fall as low as 29 to 30 well inland from Lake
Superior late tonight. Readings closer to Lake Superior will be
around 35.

A freeze watch means sub-freezing temperatures are possible.
These conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
Now is the time to take precautions to protect plants and
sensitive vegetation.
